Introduction
The Penguin Trap Game is the most popular strategy game of 2017. This is an easy to play game for both children and adults. Each player takes turns to hammer out the ice cubes surrounding the penguin. The player who makes the penguin fall into the water loses the game.
Who is the game for?
The game is recommend for players over three years or more. Any younger they use the hammer to just hit the board randomly. It is the family entertainment for children and adults of all ages. Both children and adults become addicted to it. Your child can play the game as an early education game. You can play the game with between two and four players. It is the most popular game in the UK in 2017.
How to set up the Penguin Trap Game
It only takes only a few minutes to assemble the ice cubes to play the game. To start you turn the platform upside down.
You then insert all the ice cubes into the frame form an ice-breaking platform. The pieces easily fit. As you fit the ice cubes together, they become tighter towards the end. Then fit the four feet into the frame. Then turn it back over and put the penguin on the top in the middle spot. Only 37 piece of ice are required for assembly. There is an extra one for a spare.
How to play the game
Each player takes a turn to spin the spinner. The player then has to remove two blue or white cubes or one white and one blue cube. They you use the ice picks to hammer out an ice cube with the same colour as on the spinner. Some times more than one cube falls out, so making the game shorter. It is easier to use the pick side rather than the hammer to knock out the blocks.
When the penguins falls due to middle block falling out the game ends. The player who makes the Penguin fall of the ice loses the game.
You can change the game using one of the three different spinners, to make a slightly different game. Younger children can play, as the spinner labels are also visual.
You can also omit using the spinner and just take turns in knocking out the ice cubes. You need to avoid falling into the trap set by your opponent. If more than two player are playing, the winner can be the player left with the most ice cubes.

Criticisms of the Game
The Game is smaller than expected
Sometimes the penguin falls of the board just by hitting the ice cubes with a hammer. One suggestion to stop this was to use double-sided tape to keep the penguin in place.
Suggested it would be better if the penguin was attached to a special block
It takes a long time to build the blocks to set the game up.
There was no inlay or pouch in the box to hold the cubes. This would prevent the cubes becoming easily lost.
The wording on the box appears to be a poor translation into English. However, the instructions are easy enough to follow from the pictures.
