Performance of the Unibond Aero 360 Moisture Absorber
The unibond aero comes supplied with one tablet, which is easy to install. Once installed I found a noticeable improvement in the air quality of each of the rooms installed. The tablet last about two months in most of the rooms. However, it will last only 6 weeks when the rooms are damper. After placing in the room, it lot rid of the condensation on the windows and windowsills. Works best in a closed system so you need to keep the doors and window closed.
The Unibond aero 360 works by using an Aero tab. This tab will last for roughly three months in a 20 square metre room. The tab consists of ultra-absorbent crystals. These crystals absorb the moisture and any bad smells. The excess moisture then converts into water, collected in the base. The tab works by reacting with the air to extract water from it to bring the humidity in the room down.
The unibond is only able to extract water from the air, which is passing through it. It does not have a mechanism to draw air to it. Unlike electric or battery operated dehumidifiers. Therefore, it is important where you situate it. Best to place it close to the colder outer walls as this attracts air to the unit. However, it is worth experimenting with different positions in the room and with the door open or shut.
Performance also depends on how much water vapour is in the air naturally. If you have a high level of humidity, it may be best to buy an electric dehumidifier.
Summary
Ability to take moisture out of the atmosphere – more effective than other moisture absorbers I have tried. You can check out the
